Der AH-64 Apache wurde von der US Army 1986 in Dienst gestellt und ständig weiter entwickelt. Heute steht der Apache in 18 Ländern in Einsatz.

Der dargestellte AH-64D "Longbow Apache" entstand 1999 durch umrüstung eines AH-64A und war 2003 im Einsatz im Irak.

The AH-64 Apache was put into service by the US Army in 1986 and has been continuously developed. Today the Apache is used in 18 countries.

The here shown AH-64D "Longbow Apache" was created in 1999 by converting an AH-64A. It was on duty in Iraq during "Operation Iraqi Freedom" in 2003.
