Den Bausatz von Wolf 3D Resin Parts haben wir hier schon vorgestellt. Zusätzlich kommen noch Pylone und Gunpods vom gleichen Hersteller zur Verwendung.

Den Anfang macht bei diesem Bau das Heckteil, in welches zur Verstärkung des Überganges zum Mittlerumpf ein Ring eingeklebt wird. Die Cockpitsektion erhält die separt beiligende Rückwand. Außerdem muss man sich zu Beginn zwischen früher und später Version entscheiden, welche sich durch die Instrumentenbretter und die Antennenkonfiguration unterscheiden.

At the beginning the aftsection of the fuselage gets a little support ring for the joint with the cockpit section. In the cockpit you had to glue the rear bulkhead in. Next step is the desicion between an early or a late version, differences are the instrument panels and the antenna configuration.

Das Cockpit besteht aus den beiden Sitzen, Instrumentenbrettern (hier die frühe Version), Seitenkonsolen, Pedalen und den Steuerknüppeln. Bemalt wurde alles nach Vorbildfotos.

The finished cockpit contains the two seats, instrument panels (early version), side consoles, pedals and the two joysticks. For the painting I used some pics of the real cockpit as reference.

Die Rumpfteile passen sehr gut zusammen, der kleine Spalt entstand durch einen eigenen Fehler beim versäubern der Reste der Druck-Supports.

In die Nasensektion muss Gewicht geklebt werden, worauf aber die Bauanleitung hinweißt.

The mid and aft section fitting very well. The little gap occurs due to my own fault while sanding down the rest of the print supports.

The nose section needs some ballast, which is clearly mentioned in the instruction.

Sowohl die Klebestelle der Nase als auch die Tragflächen werden durch Messingröhrchen verstärkt, welche dem Bausatz ebenfalls beiligen.

Both the gluing joint of the nose and the wings are reinforced by brass tubes, which are also included in the kit.

Alles passt perfekt ineinander. Zur sicherheit wurden alle Klebestellen mit Mr.Surfacer 1000 eingepinselt und mit Verdünner abgewischt.

Everything fits together perfectly. To be on the safe side, all glued joints were brushed with Mr. Surfacer 1000 and wiped with thinner.

Nach dem Anbringen der Windschutzscheibe und dem provisorischen Befestigen der Cockpithaube mit Maskol erhielt die PC-7 eine Schicht Tamiya xf-18.

After adding the the windshield and temporarily attaching the canopy with Maskol, the PC-7 received a layer of Tamiya xf-18.

Für den RAL-7013-Farbton des realen Flugzeugs habe ich Gunze H52 mit etwas H306 und H310 gemischt, um eine möglichst genaue Übereinstimmung zu erzielen.

For the RAL-7013 color of the real aircraft, I used Gunze H52 mixed with some H306 and H310 to get close. 

Anschließend habe ich mit UHU Patafix abgeklebt. Die zweite Farbe für das österreichische Tarnschema war Tamiya XF-5.

I went on with some masking, using UHU Patafix.  The second color for the Austrian camo scheme was Tamiya xf-5.

Nach einer Schicht Tamiya TS-13 habe ich mit dem Anbringen der Decals begonnen. Die von Matterhorn Circle entworfenen und von Cartograf gedruckten Decals sind sehr angenehm zu verarbeiten. Sie sind sehr dünn und passen sich mit etwas Mr. Set & Sol hervorragend der Oberfläche an.

After a layer of Tamiya TS-13 I started decaling. The decals designed by Matterhorn Circle and printed by Cartograf are very nice to use. They are very thin and with some Mr.Set & Sol they adapt very well to the surface. 

Die Decals wurden im Anschluss mit Tamiya TS-13 versiegelt um für das folgende Washing mit verdünnter Ölfarbe geschützt zu sein.

Decals were sealed with Tamiya TS-13 in preparation for a washing with thinned oil colors.

Nach dem Washing und einer Schicht mattem Klarlack Tamiya TS-80 wurde noch der Blendschutz vor dem Cockpit lackiert.

After the wash and a coat of Tamiya TS-80 matte clear coat, the anti-glare shield in front of the cockpit was also painted.

Die letzten Teile sind bereit zum Lackieren. Nur die Antennen fehlen noch, diese wurden erst ganz am Ende des Baus lackiert und montiert.
Das Fahrwerk ist hohl und wird zusätzlich durch eine Messingstange gestützt, um das Gewicht des Modells zu tragen.

Last bits and pieces are ready for painting. Only antennas are now missing, They got painted and mounted at the very end of the build. 
The landing gears are hollow and also supported by a piece of brass rod to withstand the weight of the model.

Antennen, Pitotrohre und statische Entlader fanden ihren Platz rund um den Rumpf.

Antennas, pitots and static dischargers found their places around the fuselage. 

Die letzten Handgriffe, Propeller, Auspuffrohre und Geschützbehälter werden montiert.

The final touches, propellers, exhaust pipes, and gun pods are mounted. 

Das fertige Modell ist eine schöne kleine Nachbildung der Pilatus PC-7. Es ist mit Sicherheit der präziseste Bausatz dieses Flugzeugs in allen Maßstäben und ein absolut genussvoller Bau.

The finished model gives you a nice little replica of the Pilatus PC-7. It´s for sure the most accurate kit of this aircraft in all scales and an absolute joyable build.
