ACE  1:72

Schweden begann 1962 mit der Erprobung des Alvis Stalwart und setzte letzendlich 24 Stück bis 1985 ein. Die Fahrzeuge standen zunächst als Versorgungsfahrzeuge der  Küstenartillerie, später als Zugfahrzeuge für das mobile Artillerie-Befehlssystem "Arte 719" im Einsatz.

Sweden began testing the Alvis Stalwart in 1962 and ultimately used 24 of them until 1985. The vehicles were initially used as supply vehicles for the coastal artillery, later as towing vehicles for the mobile artillery command system "Arte 719".

Der Bausatz von ACE bnötigt einiges an Zeit und Nerven, alle Teile müssen von Gußgraten und teilweise etwas Versatz gesäubert werden. Die Passgenauigkeit ist danach allerdings erfreulich gut.

Lackiert wurde der schwedische Stalwart nach einem einzelnen Vorbildfoto aus dem Netz, der Großteil der Fahrzeuge dürfte statt der attraktiven Splinterlackierung ein einheitlich dunkelgrünes Tarnkleid getragen haben.

The ACE kit requires a lot of time and nerves, all parts have to be cleaned of cast burrs and some misalignments. However, the fit is pleasantly good afterwards.

The Swedish stalwart was painted according to a single photo from the net,  the majority of the vehicles should have worn a uniform dark green camouflage dress instead of the attractive splinter paint.
