Spanien beschaffte in den 1970ern insgesamt 10 Stück AV-8S Harrier plus 2 Doppelsitzer TAV-8S. Auf Grund von politischen Vorbehalten gegen die Franco-Regierung wurde der Kauf über die USA abgewickelt, wo auch die spanischen Piloten ausgebildet wurden.

Als Basis für den Bau dient der Bausatz von Airfix, zusätzlich gibts noch Decals von Series Espanolas, Ätzteile von Eduard, einen Sitz von Pavla, Schubdüsen von Aires und ein Pitotrohr von Master.

In the 1970s, Spain purchased a total of 10 AV-8S Harriers plus 2 two-seater TAV-8Ss. Due to political reservations against the Franco government, the purchase was carried out via the USA, where the Spanish pilots were also trained.

The kit from Airfix serves as the basis for the construction, there are also decals from Series Espanolas, etched parts from Eduard, a seat from Pavla, nozzles from Aires and a pitot tube from Master.
